Julian, I haven’t seen much of you lately. What have you been up to? It seems like you only come online right before bed.

🇹🇼 Julian Chen:

(Silent for two seconds)

…I realized I’d been on social media way too much lately, and it was only making me more anxious.

It’s like tossing seeds into the air. None of them ever lands in the soil, so nothing grows.

So I’m trying to take my time back. Now I only check it for a bit before bed.

The accounts I’ve had since college… I’ve started deleting them for good.

🇯🇵 Ginni Nagase:

These days I mostly use it one way, just to write down my thoughts and views.

But if I come across something that resonates while I’m on, I’ll still like it or leave a comment.

Since I’ve been spending less time scrolling, my writing actually feels more alive than before.

🇯🇵 Ginni Nagase:
